AmTrust International, the UK and International arm of New York-based insurer AmTrust Financial Services, Inc., has appointed Steve Ranzetta to the role of Lead Underwriter, Accident & Health (A&H).
Ranzetta will lead the A&H underwriting team for the Specialty Business Unit within AmTrust International.
He will also be responsible for managing the portfolio in line with the Specialty business plans to grow a sustainable, quality and customer-focussed business.
With more than 30 years’ experience in UK and international A&H markets, Ranzetta joins AmTrust from Lloyd’s managing agent, Vibe Syndicate 5678, where he was responsible for establishing and growing the A&H division.
Prior to this, he was Class Underwriter, A&H at Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Underwriting at Lloyd’s, Syndicate 3210 and before that, Assistant Vice President, UK & Ireland Accident & Health Manager at Chubb Insurance Company of Europe.
