AmTrust International has named Tom Maloney as Head of Claims for AmTrust International Specialty and Chief Claims Officer for AmTrust Europe Limited, based in London and reporting to Angel Mas, Specialty Business Unit Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of AmTrust Europe Limited.
AmTrust International is the UK and International division of AmTrust Financial Services, Inc.
In his new role, Maloney will also serve as a member of the International Specialty Executive team.
Maloney joined the firm in 2016 and has played an important role in the development of the company’s Group Claims Technical and Operation Framework, which successfully integrated the Lloyd’s and company claims platform. He brings more than two decades of insurance industry experience to the role, and prior to AmTrust, held roles with CNA Hardy and Aon.
AmTrust International has also revealed that Michael Walsh has joined from the Corporation of Lloyd’s as Delegated Claims Manager for AmTrust International Specialty. He is expected to join the firm in the first-quarter of 2020 and will report to Maloney.
