AmTrust International, a subsidiary of the insurer AmTrust Financial Services, has bolstered its speciality team with two senior underwriting appointments.
Dean Kiernan joins the professional indemnity team as a senior underwriter, while Donna Stroulger joins as an underwriter in the property team.
Kiernan brings 30 years of technical, operational and sales experience covering all main classes of commercial insurance underwriting.
He previously served as lead underwriter, professional indemnity for RSA’s London Market & global risks team.
Most recently, he held the position of underwriting leader at RSA where he was responsible for the delivery of underwriting capability for the London Market and south region professional and financial risks team.
Stroulger brings over 30 years of experience of property underwriting in the London Market, and will focus on growing AmTrust International’s commercial property lines of business on a delegated authority basis.
She joins from MAPFRE where she served as senior property underwriter. Prior to this, she was vice president property facultative at XL Catlin.
