Insurance and reinsurance broker Aon has hired Katherine Kuehn from vArmour as Managing Director (MD) within its Cyber Solutions division, where she will build upon her network to develop and provide innovative solutions in the cyber risk space.
In her new role, Kuehn will leverage her network of key cyber, government and investment entities to both develop and offer cyber solutions, utilising Aon’s wider insurance solutions to deliver high-quality, end-to-end client services.
A recognised industry leader via her role on the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Executive Steering Committee for Cybersecurity, Kuehn joins the global brokerage from vArmour, a provider of application relationship management.
Most recently, she served as a Senior Vice President and had oversight of the creation of an alliance program by developing partnerships with large tech companies. Kuehn also served as an advisor to the CEO of vArmour.
Previously, she held a number of roles across the CEO, CISO, strategic business development, sales and engineering functions, including working as U.S. CEO of Senseon, and Head of Security for the Americas at BT Global Services.
Kuehn will report to Christian Hoffman, Global Cyber Leader and CEO of Aon’s Cyber Solutions North America, who commented: “Cybersecurity continues to be the number one threat organizations face today.
