Aon appoints Leonique van Houwelingen CEO for the Netherlands

Re/insurance broker Aon has named a new CEO of Aon in the Netherlands and member of the EMEA Executive team.

leonique-van-houwelingen-aonLeonique van Houwelingen appointment is expected to be effective 1 November, subject to regulatory approval.

Prior to joining Aon, she held various executive roles in the financial services sector, the broker noted.

Her most recent position was as CEO of BNY Mellon Europe in Brussels and EMEA Head of Strategic Growth and Regional Client Coverage Asset Servicing and Digital.

Commenting on van Houwelingen’s appointment, Eduardo Dávila, EMEA CEO, Aon said: “We are extremely pleased Leonique has joined Aon. She is an experienced and strategic leader who excels at fostering growth and developing high-performing teams.
