Global insurance and reinsurance broker Aon has announced the appointment of Lisa Stevens to the newly established role of Chief Administrative Officer.
In her new role, Stevens will continue to oversee the firm’s People Organisation, with expanded responsibilities including Marketing and Communications, and Public Affairs.
Greg Case, CEO of Aon, expressed his enthusiasm for Stevens’ appointment, stating, “As one of the executive leaders of our 3×3 Plan, Lisa has helped to further connect our shared services to the support needed to serve our clients.”
Case continued, “With our Marketing and Communications and Public Affairs teams already working in close collaboration with the colleagues in our People Organization, this office is a natural evolution and the right home for these teams as we look to build on our momentum and go further, faster as one global firm.”
Stevens brings nearly 35 years of industry experience, with a strong background in managing operational, market, reputational, and credit risk.
She joined Aon in December 2018 as Global EVP and most recently served as Chief People Officer and Head of Global Human Capital Solutions. In this role, she was responsible for creating, implementing, and leading strategies that empower the firm’s 60,000 colleagues to fully align with its client-centric Aon United mission.
Prior to her tenure at Aon, Stevens spent 29 years at Wells Fargo, where she served as Executive Vice President and Head of the Western U.S. She led 34,000 employees and 2,700 branch offices across a 24-state region, with annual community engagement exceeding $100 million.
