Global insurance and reinsurance broker Aon has announced the appointment of Edwin Charnaud from Marsh as EMEA Chairman for its mergers and acquisition (M&A) and Transaction Solutions unit.
The appointment is effective April 15th, 2019, and Charnaud will be tasked with assisting the acceleration of the regional M&A and Transaction Solutions growth ambitions, with a focus on strengthening relationships with both private equity and infrastructure clients.
From 2004, he was Chairman of the global Infrastructure practice and EMEA Head of Private Equity and M&A at broker Marsh, and prior to that worked at Willis.
