Global insurance and reinsurance broking group Aon has announced the appointment of Renuka Nar as Head of Broking for its Life and Health (L&H) reinsurance business in India.
In her new role, Nar will report to Shailendra Sapra, CEO of Reinsurance Solutions, India, and Danny Alexander, Head of Life Reinsurance at Aon.
Nar will be responsible for leading and developing Aon’s life and health service offerings, business strategy, and value proposition for both existing and prospective clients. She will also oversee Aon’s reinsurance business strategy, value proposition, and service offerings for Life and Health clients, covering both treaty and facultative lines.
Nar will collaborate with colleagues across the Asia Pacific region to enhance Aon’s reinsurance offerings, providing greater flexibility and capacity to support the market’s strong growth.
Nar joins Aon from Howden Insurance Brokers India, where she served as Associate President and Head of Life Reinsurance.
Previously, she was Senior General Manager of Life Reinsurance at J.B. Boda and has held senior roles at SUD Life Insurance, RGA, PNB Principal Insurance Advisory, and Kotak Life Insurance.
