Aon appoints Sarah Goodman as Life Sciences Broking Practice Leader

Aon, the global professional services firm providing risk, retirement and health solutions, has announced the appointment of Sarah Goodman, CPCU, ARM, AINS as its Life Sciences Broking Practice Leader.

According to Aon, Goodman brings extensive industry expertise and established market relationships to the role, where she will focus on supporting innovation and helping clients navigate an increasingly complex risk landscape. The appointment forms part of Aon’s ongoing investment in sector-focused specialty capabilities and reflects the firm’s Aon United strategy.

Goodman joins the position with more than a decade of experience in the life sciences insurance sector. She has served as Chief Operating Officer, Life Sciences at Aon since March 2020, based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she has overseen operational strategy and supported the firm’s life sciences practice.

Prior to joining Aon, Goodman was a Senior Vice President at Marsh, a role she held from July 2014 to March 2020 in the New York City metropolitan area.

Earlier in her career, she served as Vice President – Life Sciences at Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. from November 2012 to July 2014. In that position, she worked with life sciences clients and prospective clients to identify and develop solutions for their risk management requirements while collaborating with colleagues across the business.
