Re/insurance broker Aon has added Tracie Thompson as Chief Broking Officer for the EMEA region, excluding the UK.
Thompson’s appointment is effective immediately and will see her report to Hugo Wegbrans, Global CBO, and Eduardo Dávila, CEO of Commercial Risk, Health and Affinity in EMEA (excluding UK).
Based in Madrid, she will be responsible for leading the EMEA broking team and strategy.
Thompson has been with Aon for over 15 years having previously been part of Aon’s Enterprise Client Group.
Before that she served as managing director for Aon Inpoint and during her time at Aon has worked in the Asia Pacific, the UK and North American regions.
“Tracie’s proven track record of building strong client relationships alongside her experience across the Aon network makes her the ideal person to drive our EMEA broking strategy,” said Wegbrans.
“I look forward to working alongside Tracie to strengthen Aon’s broking offering in the EMEA region.”
