Aon expands Business Intelligence unit with analyst hires

Re/insurance broker Aon plc has expanded its Business Intelligence unit within Reinsurance Solutions, with the hiring of three experienced analysts.

Aon logoParis Hadjiantonis has been named as a Senior Analyst, and will report to Mike Van Slooten, Head of Business Intelligence.

In addition, Oliver Troop and Ludovico van Wijk have been named as Financial Analysts, reporting to Marie Teissier, who leads the firm’s Client Analysis initiative.

Troop joins with immediate effect, and Hadjiantonis and van Wijk will join the firm in September.

Hadjiantonis joins from Exane BNP Paribas, where he was Executive Director, Equity Research – Insurance, leading coverage of the Reinsurance and Global Commercial Insurance sub-sectors.

Prior to this role, he was a Vice President at both Credit Suisse International and Keefe, Bruyette & Woods.

Troop joins from Autonomous, where he had been Vice President, European Insurance since 2015, serving as an equity analyst.

Before joining Autonomous, he was an Investment Consultant at Towers Watson, where he focused on liability-driven investment strategies.

Van Wijk joins from Nomura, where he was an Associate in the Investment Banking Division, engaged in corporate finance activity in the Continental European insurance market.

Aon continues to significantly invest in insurance capital expertise to enhance the firm’s ability to assess and respond to client needs through a deeper market understanding. By going beyond the strong foundations of reinsurance strategy, Aon’s Business Intelligence team supports and connects client teams to deliver the breadth of the firm’s capabilities.
