Global insurance and reinsurance broking group Aon has announced the appointment of Julio Adolfo Cedillo Mejía as CEO, Commercial Risk and Human Capital for Mexico, Caribbean and Central America.
The transition to the new role is set to take effect on 1 May, 2026.
“With 22 years of experience at the company, Julio has consistently demonstrated strong leadership and a positive impact on our business, contributing strategic vision and a customer-centric approach,” an Aon spokesperson stated.
Adding: “We are confident that his experience and deep market knowledge will be instrumental in helping us continue to advance our strategy to support business growth.”
An industry veteran, Cedillo Mejía has been with Aon since 2004, having most recently served as CEO Reinsurance, Mexico and Central America & Chief Broking Officer Reinsurance LATAM.
The move signals Aon’s commitment to consolidating its leadership across Latin America by integrating its risk management and workforce consulting arms under a single strategic division.
