Aon has appointed Gary Warman as global life leader of its Strategy and Technology Group, effective immediately.
Warman is a qualified Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries and holds over three decades of experience in the life insurance industry, with significant experience in M&A, capital management, operational efficiency/cost management and developing successful teams.
He joins Aon from Royal London Mutual Insurance Society, where he was Finance Systems and Change Director.
In the new role, Warman is tasked with leading the development and growth of the life consulting capability globally, leveraging existing client relationships and Aon’s market insights, whilst identifying new opportunities to broaden the actuarial support the Strategy and Technology Group can offer its insurance clients.
He will report to Colin Forrest, chief executive officer of the Strategy and Technology Group.

Warman’s appointment comes at a time of expansion for Aon’s STG division, having recently named Morena Dell’Aglio as global technology sales leader.
