Aon plc has announced the appointment of Lambros Lambrou as Global Chief Commercial Officer and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Global Specialties for the firm’s commercial risk business.
Lambros has over 30 years’ experience in the risk management industry, most of which has been spent working for Aon in various positions across Asia Pacific, North America and Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) in re/insurance and alternative capital markets.
Most recently, Lambros was CEO of Aon Risk Solutions Australia, and has supported Aon’s growth initiatives over the last 10 years, developing and launching innovative solutions for the firm.

Lambros has also served Aon as CEO of its Global Broking Centre in London and Chief Broking Officer for Aon Risk Solutions EMEA, before which he also worked as Global Chief Operating Officer for Aon Broking, Head of Aon Analytics and Head of Carrier Management.
