Aon has appointed Nick Moore as Chief Executive Officer of Bermuda, where he will lead the firm’s Bermuda Commercial Risk Solutions broking operations and have oversight over the Bermuda-based commercial risk claims team.
Moore is an Aon veteran, having served the firm for nearly three decades in a variety of senior roles.
He most recently worked as Aon Bermuda’s Chief Broking Officer, and before that, he was the firm’s Global Excess Casualty Practice Leader, based in New York.
Before Aon, Moore served as a broker at Marsh for four years.
Now, in his new role as CEO of Bermuda, he is tasked with driving innovation, risk transfer capacity and alternative capital solutions to best serve the needs of Aon’s large global client portfolio.
In related news, Ed Thomas recently joined Aon as Head of Lloyd’s Capital within its Reinsurance Solutions Capital Advisory unit.
In his new role, Thomas takes on responsibility for leading the broker’s Lloyd’s-focused Capital Advisory services.
