Aon plc, a globally renowned professional services firm, has announced the appointment of Nicola Fraccalvieri as the leader of the EMEA Facultative team within its Reinsurance Solutions division.
Based in London, Fraccalvieri will report directly to Alfonso Valera and Tomas Novotny, who serve as the EMEA co-CEOs of Aon’s Reinsurance Solutions, and Andrew Laing, the Facultative CEO of Reinsurance Solutions.
Fraccalvieri rejoins Aon after holding prominent positions at Guy Carpenter, where he served as the head of continental Europe Facultative and head of London Facultative for casualty, specialty, and financial lines.
In his new capacity, Fraccalvieri will collaborate closely with colleagues across EMEA, Risk Capital, and the extensive Aon network to provide comprehensive support to clients in safeguarding and expanding their businesses.
Andrew Laing, the CEO of Facultative at Aon Reinsurance Solutions, expressed his excitement regarding the appointment. He mentioned that Aon’s facultative capabilities have consistently provided value to clients throughout 2023 by increasing accessible capital and effectively implementing facultative solutions.
These efforts have assisted clients in dealing with the unpredictable nature of the global reinsurance markets, which can be challenging at times.
