Aon has announced the promotion of John Bruno to Chief Operations Officer with immediate effect.
Bruno joined Aon in 2014 as the Executive Vice President of Enterprise Innovation and Chief Information Officer.
His main responsibilities at Aon have involved delivering innovative infrastructure and technology solutions that have simplified processes, increased productivity and established platforms for growth.
President and Chief Executive Officer, Greg Case, said; “We are constantly looking for ways to make it easier and more compelling for clients to expand their relationship with Aon.”

Bruno will continue to head up the firm’s Technology organization in addition to his new role as Chief Operations Officer.
Before joining Aon, Bruno held senior leadership roles in Corporate Development, Field Operations and Information Technology at NCR, Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch & Co., Symbol Technologies, Inc., and Cisco Systems.
