Apollo, an insurance platform, has announced the appointment of Mike Krefta as Non-Executive Director of Apollo Syndicate Management Limited, pending regulatory approval.
With over two decades of experience in the insurance industry, spanning both London and Bermuda, Krefta brings a wealth of expertise.
As the former CEO of Hiscox Re and ILS, he led strategic initiatives across teams in Bermuda, London, and Paris. Prior to that, he served as chief underwriting officer at Hiscox Re.
Most recently, Krefta established Meadow Consulting Limited, a re/insurance advisory firm that guides multinational insurers and institutional investors on business strategy, risk management, product development, insurance-linked securities (ILS), and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices.
