Arbol hires Kornberger as Chief Revenue Officer & Deputy CFO

Insurtech platform and FinTech company Arbol has announced the appointment of Charlie Kornberger, who joins the company as Chief Revenue Officer and Deputy Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Within these roles, Kornberger will oversee all revenue generating programs and operations for Arbol and its subsidiaries.

Kornberger joins Arbol from Standard Chartered Bank, where he most recently served as both Global Head of Insurance Banking and Head of Financial Institutions for the Americas.

During his time at Standard Chartered, Kornberger successfully led large specialised businesses and leveraged client teams across multiple sun-sectors and geographies.

He originally joined Standard Chartered as the banks Regional Head of Insurance Coverage for the Americas.

Kornberger also held previous leadership positions with Credit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank, Salomon Brothers, and Chase Securities.

In addition, Kornberger has over thirty years of corporate and investment banking and senior leadership experience, across financial markets, risk management, capital markets, M&A, asset management, insurance-linked securities, risk transfer solutions and transaction banking services.
