Arch Capital Group Ltd. has named Maamoun Rajeh Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Arch Worldwide Reinsurance Group, and Nicolas Papadopoulo as Chairman and CEO of Arch Worldwide Insurance Group and Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO) for Property & Casualty Operations.
Rajeh joined Arch in 2001 and currently serves as President and CEO of Arch Reinsurance (Arch Re, Bermuda).
Papadopoulo will succeed David McElroy, who elected to transition from his role to become Vice Chairman of Arch Worldwide Insurance to spend more time with his family.

Papadopoulo has over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, having previously served in various senior executive positions at Arch, including CUO of Arch Re, President and CEO of Arch Re, as well as Chairman and CEO of Arch Worldwide Reinsurance.

Rajeh has over 25 years of industry experience and has previously served as CUO of Arch Re, and President and CEO of Arch Re Europe, as well as President and CEO of Arch Re.
