Arch Insurance International, part of Arch Capital Group Ltd., has announced the appointment of Craig Cafferty as a Senior Underwriter, Property, effective immediately.
In his new role, Cafferty will work with existing clients across the portfolio as well as exploring new opportunities, adding further drive to the firm’s strong growth in the sector.
He joins a well-established property team with a strong focus on technical underwriting and customer service, and will report to Paul Keeley, Head of Property, based in London.
Cafferty, a seasoned property market practitioner, brings more than 17 years of sector experience to his new role. Most recently, he served as an International Property Broker and Vice President at Marsh and led the firm’s property team for the Asia region.
Earlier in his career, he spent time with Cooper Gay and was an International Facultative Property Broker at CGNMB LLP.
Keeley commented: “We are delighted to have Craig join the property team. He has extensive broking experience in the property sector across a broad and diverse range of territories and an equally broad range of occupancies.
“He will play a key role in helping to further strengthen our property insurance division and will bring a new and valuable perspective to the line of business at both the individual risk level and broking house to carrier level.”
