Arch Insurance International, part of insurer and reinsurer Arch Capital Group Ltd., has promoted Krista Bonneau to the role of Chief Reinsurance and Exposure Officer, effective immediately.
In her new role, Bonneau takes on responsibility for developing and managing the firm’s ceded reinsurance and exposure management function across its portfolio.
She will be based in London and reports to Hugh Sturgess, President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Arch International Insurance.
Bonneau most recently served as Senior Vice President of Ceded Reinsurance, having joined Arch in 2010 and the ceded reinsurance team in 2014 as an Assistant Vice President.
“Our reinsurance procurement strategy has been a fundamental part of our strong growth in recent years. As part of our senior management team Krista has led the development of that strategy. This promotion also recognizes Krista’s contribution to our team and to our future in a dynamic and evolving marketplace,” said Sturgess.
“I am excited to be taking on this combined role, both to develop synergies between reinsurance and exposure management and to support Arch Insurance International’s goals for growth in the London Market and beyond. Our aim will be to ensure we maintain a balanced strategy which closely aligns with our overarching business objectives and helps facilitate our continued success,” added Bonneau.
