Arch Reinsurance has appointed Vanessa Hardy Pickering as Chief Financial Officer, which will take place in September.
Hardy Pickering is an experienced re/insurance executive with a track record of supporting strategic growth plans, assembling and leading strong teams and serving as a trusted business partner to a variety of stakeholders.
Most recently, she served as CFO for Hamilton Re, and Group Treasurer for Hamilton Insurance Group. She has also held senior financial roles at Ariel Re and Rosemont Reinsurance Ltd.
Hardy Pickering will report to Jerome Halgan, Chief Executive Officer.
Halgan commented: “Vanessa is highly regarded in the reinsurance community because of her depth of knowledge and ability to navigate our complicated and fast-moving industry.
