Ardonagh Specialty, part of the Ardonagh Group, has announced the completion of its purchase of Oxford Insurance Group.
The acquisition was originally announced in October 2022.
The addition of Oxford Insurance Group will bring $250 million of gross written premium, as well as additional capacity in professional indemnity, general liability, marine and energy to the $7 billion premium placed by Ardonagh Specialty.
Oxford Insurance Group operates across several specialisms including professional indemnity, property, general liability, marine and energy.
The company’s businesses includes London-based Oxford Insurance Brokers, James Hampden International and MGB Insurance Brokers, as well as MGA and Wholesale businesses, Swiss and Liechtenstein UNIS and Dubai-based Antarah.
