Argenta, a Lloyd’s insurer, has appointed Alexandra Hayes as Head of Group Strategy & Execution/Chief of Staff and Sweta Tzimopoulos as Chief Distribution Officer.
The two appointments aim to strengthen the insurer’s leadership team and reflect its focus on strategic growth.
Hayes joined Argenta at the start of January 2026, and Tzimopoulos will join later in 2026, with her start date yet to be confirmed.
In her new role, Hayes reports directly to Nick Moore, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Argenta. She will assist in delivering Argenta’s priorities, and work closely with the Senior Management Group (SMG) to ensure effective execution of the insurer’s strategic objectives.
She has extensive experience in strategy, transformation and leadership within the insurance, financial services, and fintech sectors. Most recently, Hayes served as Chief of Staff to the CEO at Direct Line Group, supporting the CEO and executive to deliver improved results and on Aviva’s successful bid to acquire the group.
Pevriouslky, she served as Chief of Staff to the CEO at Lloyd’s, where she worked to deliver clarity, accountability, and momentum around the market’s five-year strategic plan.
Tzimopoulos also reports to Moore in her new role, she will lead Argenta’s distribution strategy, focus on building deeper relationships with broker partners, and identify new channels to support growth.
She has nearly 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. Before this, Tzimopoulos was Director of Distribution Strategy & Marketing, UK and Bermuda, and Executive Committee Member at Ascot Underwriting, where she established the distribution and marketing function.
She previously held senior roles in business development, strategy and change management at Liberty Specialty Markets, as well as transformation leadership positions at Aon, managing change programmes and M&A. Her earlier career includes roles in consultancy and banking.
