Argo Group International Holdings, Ltd. member, Colony Specialty, has announced two new appointments within its U.S. Casualty Division.
Mike York has been named regional manager, North Region, and brings more than 22 years of industry experience to the firm. Prior to his new position, York was Assistant Vice President (AVP), Underwriting team lead, where he was tasked with managing and expanding Colony Specialty’s Midwest team.
The company has also announced the appointment of Donna Pyle as regional manager, South Region, where she will have responsibility for developing broker relationships alongside the oversight of submission activity across the South Region. Prior to her new position, she served as AVP, underwriting in Colony’s casualty unit, and prior to that she was AVP, regulatory compliance at Argo Group U.S.
The pair will report to Tim Williams, Vice President, Underwriting, Colony Specialty, who commented; “These leadership appointments will provide strategic oversight of our regional offices. They will enhance our product delivery, staff development and broker relationships.”
