Argo Group International Holdings has announced the appointment of Giovanni Tucci as Managing Director of the recently acquired Ariscom.
Tucci will lead the Italian specialty insurer, which was purchased by Argo in March 2018, from April 30th and will report to Matt Harris, Head of Europe, Middle East and Asia (EMEA).
He brings 30 years’ industry experience to his new role and joins Argo from Intesa Sanpaolo Assicure, where he most recently served as Technical Director, managing product development, pricing, and underwriting policy, and launching the business’s SME unit.

His vast insurance experience, leadership capabilities and market knowledge will contribute, along with Argo Group’s cutting-edge digital solutions, to the creation of a market-leading platform.

Tucci’s career also includes 13 years in executive roles at AXA Group, and he began his career at Tillinghurst, a London-based primary consulting firm specialising in insurance and risk management.
