Global reinsurer Ariel Re has announced the appointments of Sarah Morgan as Head of Property and Reed Gaglio as Head of E&S Property Reinsurance, both effective 1st April, 2026.
Morgan succeeds Mike Cornish, who has held the role at Ariel Re since 2018. Cornish will continue with the company in a new position supporting strategy, new product development and special projects.
Morgan joined Ariel Re in 2006 and has since been an integral member of the Property underwriting team, developing strong broker and client relationships across the market.
Most recently, she served as Senior Vice President, Property Reinsurance at Ariel Re.
In his new role as Head of E&S Property Reinsurance, Gaglio will lead the next phase of business development, reflecting the increasing strategic importance of the class.
He joined Ariel Re in 2005 and most recently served as Senior Vice President, Property Reinsurance, and Head of Property Reinsurance for Apollo s6133.
Ariel Re said the leadership updates within its Property underwriting team reinforce its focus on portfolio resilience and long-term strategic growth.
