Global reinsurer Ariel Re has announced the appointment of Sierra Dietz as Underwriter – Property Reinsurance.
Dietz brings eight years of industry experience across claims, modelling, and underwriting.
She joins Ariel Re after nearly eight years at Sompo, initially working as a Claims Associate before becoming a Junior Catastrophe Modelling Analyst and most recently serving as Reinsurance Underwriter.
Ariel Re said, “Her experience and technical background well-position her to support our underwriting strategies and deliver superior outcomes for our clients.”
Dietz’s appointment follows Ariel Re’s recent updates to its property leadership, naming Sarah Morgan as Head of Property and Reed Gaglio as Head of E&S Property Reinsurance, both effective 1st April 2026.
