Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. has acquired Nashville, Tennessee-based Anderson Benson, a retail insurance broker and risk management firm.
Anderson Benson was founded in 2012 and has an entertainment niche expertise as well as specialisations in hospitality, construction, transportation and private clients across the US.
George Anderson, Reno Benson, Brent Daughrity, Steve Buzzell, Will Wright and their team will remain in their current location under the direction of Bumpy Triche, head of Gallagher’s Mid-South retail property/casualty brokerage operations.

This latest acquisition continues Gallagher’s spree of announcements in 2022.
In December, the firm acquired São Paulo, Brazil-based Interbrok Group, which followed on from an agreement to acquire the partnership interests of BCHR Holdings, known as Buck, in Gallaghers largest HR benefits acquisition to date, valued at $660 million.
Earlier in that same month, Gallagher acquired Brisbane, Queensland-based Aviation Insurance, as well as St. Cloud, Minnesota-based Mahowald Insurance, LLC.
