Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. has acquired Dublin, Ireland-based Keaney Insurance Brokers Ltd.
Keaney is a commercial insurance broker that supports businesses across Ireland with insurance and risk management solutions.
Terry Keaney, the firm’s Managing Director, and his team will remain in their current location under the direction of Ronan Foley, head of Gallagher’s insurance brokerage operations in Ireland.

In related news, as per Arthur J. Gallagher’s recently reported Q3 results, the firm completed 12 new mergers in the quarter with approximately $57 million of estimated annualised revenue.
Gallagher also disclosed total revenues before reimbursements of $2.45 billion, up from 2.01 billion in the same quarter last year.
The firm’s brokerage segment accounted for $2.12 billion of the total Q3 revenue, up from $1.74 billion last year, while the risk management segment accounted for $331 million of the total revenue, up from $275.5 million.
