Joe Fitzgerald has been appointed as the Global Head of Casualty Reinsurance for Claims at Aspen Insurance Group, part of Bermuda-based re/insurer Aspen Insurance Holdings Limited.
The role change was effective starting August of this year. Fitzgerald will be based out of London.
Fitzgerald brings more than two decades of industry experience to the role.
Prior to this, Fitzgerald was at specialist re/insurer Hiscox for more than 12 years, where he served as the Claims Manager until August 2023.
He has also held the position of Senior Claims Underwriter for Hiscox.
Fitzgerald started his career as a Claims Manager for re/insurance broker BMS Group.
