Aspen Insurance, a provider of specialty re/insurance products, has announced the appointment of Edward Hart to the role of International Head of Cyber.
Hart brings to his new role 10 years of cyber underwriting experience. Based in London, he will be responsible for advancing the International Cyber team, its underwriting strategy and risk management capabilities.
He has been promoted from his role as Senior Underwriter, a role he has held since he joined Aspen Insurance in February. He has also served in roles at Brit Insurance and Barbican Insurance Group.
In his short time thus far at Aspen, Hart has expanded distribution relationships, attracted class leading talent and brought meaningful insights to our group underwriting strategy, the firm highlighted.
Hart obtained his undergraduate degree in Economics and Management from the University of Leeds, and currently maintains his ACII designation.

Aspen Insurance has also recently announced the appointment of Tim Mardon as Global Head of Property Catastrophe Reinsurance and Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO) of Aspen Bermuda Limited (ABL).Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO) of Aspen Bermuda Limited (ABL).
The Bermuda-based re/insurer also noted that Philip Hough will maintain responsibility for Other Property, in addition to leading the EMEA and Latin American businesses out of Zurich.
