Digital platform Aurora has appointed Carla Havemann to be its new heard of partnerships and strategy.
The company said in a statement that Havemann would help drive the design and development of the company’s partnership ecosystem ahead of the launch of its first product in October. Havemann is moving over from Munich Re, where she was a partnership manager.
Jan-Vincent Finn, co-founder and CEO of Aurora, said: “Carla will be leading the development of a very comprehensive and sophisticated ecosystem. With proven expertise in developing and maintaining strong partner relationships and coming from an organisation that specialises in supporting digital insurance businesses, Carla has the innovative approach needed to think creatively about what customers need, and how we can work with a range of businesses to meet these needs.”
Havemann joins Aurora’s leadership team following the recent appointment of Andy Race, former WTW cloud architect, to the role of head of architecture and engineering.
Back in March, Pro Global Holdings said that Aurora was being supported in its growth ambitions by its subsidiary Pro MGA Global Solutions.
That partnership sees Aurora operate as an Appointed Representative under the FCA permissions of Pro MGA Global Solutions, which provides regulatory oversight, compliance and back office services.
Based in the UK, Aurora provides business insurance for the SME sector through a first-of-its-kind holistic digital platform.
Aurora works with customers on a direct basis or via selected broking partners, catering to micro, small and medium businesses.
