Aventum, a (re)insurance group, announced the appointment of Robert Moorehead-Lane as its Chief Risk Officer.
This newly established role underscores Aventum’s unwavering commitment to efficient risk management and delivering value to its employees, partners, and clients, as the company continues to thrive in an ever-evolving industry landscape, the company said.
Moorehead-Lane brings a wealth of experience, 25 years in the financial services sector, with his most recent position being the Chief Risk Officer at Aspen Insurance Group.
His extensive professional journey also includes roles at Grant Thornton, Assurant, and KPMG, where he honed his expertise in risk strategy, framework development, strategic transformation, regulatory policy development, solvency, and risk-based capital solutions.
In his new capacity as the Group CRO at Aventum, Moorehead-Lane will play a pivotal role in ensuring the organisation’s evolution is fortified with heightened resilience through the implementation of a robust risk framework, strengthened governance, and vigilant oversight.
