AXA XL, the P&C and specialty risk division of global insurer AXA, has handed Mike Gosselin responsibility for underwriting strategy, portfolio performance, and driving profitability for its UK business across its Lloyd’s and company market platforms.
Gosselin takes over as Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO), UK & Lloyd’s at AXA XL in April 2024, subject to regulatory approval.
He joins from Liberty Global Risk Solutions, where he most recently served as Global Leader, Energy & Transition Risk.
Previously, Gosselin spent two decades with Liberty Specialty Markets in various roles, including CUO responsible for many lines of business.
