AXA XL has promoted Marc Bertha as team lead for the U.S Eastern Region Multinational Casualty group, based in New York.
He will be tasked with leading the region’s underwriting team as they partner with new and existing clients in the management of complex international risks.
Bertha joined AXA XL in 2013 as a Senior Manager of Global Programs and Network Services, before which he worked at Zurich, North America.
“Having served as Senior Underwriter for the past couple of years and with his prior experience, Marc brings a wealth of international expertise to this role,” said Stefan Homberger, Head of Multinational Casualty Insurance in the U.S.
“It’s exciting to see him take on this new management opportunity to further support our team of talented underwriters in reaching their growth goals and creating lasting partnerships with clients and brokers in the Eastern region,” he added.
AXA XL’s Multinational Casualty insurance team provides primary casualty coverage for multinational companies around the globe and partners with clients to address local liability concerns, insurance requirements, as well as international legal, regulatory and tax compliance issues.
