AXIS Insurance, the specialty insurance business segment of AXIS Capital Holdings, has appointed Carol Chavers as Underwriting Innovation Lead for Small Specialty Commercial.
In her new role, Chavers will be responsible for underwriting processes, business results and advancements in the business unit’s digital underwriting capabilities.
Chavers has nearly 30 years of underwriting experience, having held several leadership positions centred around small business and digital operational models.
She joins from Cincinnati Insurance Company, where she was Vice President, Small Business and led the design and development of an automated underwriting platform.
She will report to Jill Bryant, Head of Small Specialty Commercial at AXIS Insurance.
