AXIS Capital Holdings Limited, the global specialty underwriter and provider of re/insurance solutions, has appointed Cliff Gallant as Head of Investor Relations and Corporate Development.
The appointment is effective from December 18th, 2023, Gallant will report to Peter Vogt, AXIS Chief Financial Officer and will serve as a member of the company’s Global Finance leadership team.
Vogt commented on the appointment, “Cliff brings expansive insurance expertise, ranging from building and running investor relations programs at insurance carriers to serving as a sell-side research analyst at leading firms.
“His leadership will be invaluable as we continue to deepen engagement within the investment community and foster understanding of our vision and strategy, all as we further elevate AXIS as a specialty leader.”
Most recently, Gallant served at Hippo Insurance as the Vice President of Investor Relations and Corporate Development where he built the organization’s investor relations program.
Previously, Gallant served as the Senior Vice President of Investor Relations at National General Insurance before its sale to Allstate, where he then joined the carrier’s Corporate Development team.
Throughout his career, Gallant has served varied roles ranging from Portfolio Manager at Philadelphia Financial, to Research Analyst at Nomura, and Managing Director at Keefe, Bruyette and Woods, among other roles.
