AXIS Re, the reinsurance arm of Bermuda-based AXIS Capital Holdings Limited, has named Bobby Kwan as Senior Underwriter for Property Lines, effective August 17th, 2020.
In his new role, Kwan will work alongside the Asia Pacific Property Team to manage the reinsurer’s Property book of business across the region. He will be based in Singapore and will report to AXIS Re’s President of APAC, Les Loh.
Kwan brings more than 30 years of underwriting and management experience to AXIS Re, which includes ten years with PartnerRe and 20 years with AXA/Paris Re, prior to its acquisition by PartnerRe.
Loh commented: “Bobby is a strong addition to the AXIS Re team, bringing with him vast underwriting and management experience, a robust network and technical knowledge of the Asia Pacific region.
“I look forward to seeing him drive and develop our Cat and Property portfolios in the market.”
