Balavant Insurance Group, a provider of specialty insurance solutions, has launched Sentric Specialty, a new program manager (PA) built on its platform to deliver specialty solutions for risks across manufacturing, crisis management, and professional liability.
According to the insurer, this launch includes an inaugural coverage for product recall, including manufacturers errors and omissions (E&O), thereby closing a traditional market coverage gap in manufacturing defect protection.
The venture will be backed by Hudson Insurance Group, an Odyssey Group company, which will provide its paper, rated A+ by AM Best.
Hudson is a specialty carrier known for its underwriting depth and long-term PA partnerships, bringing its capacity and financial stability to the platform.
This launch marks the first of a series of product innovations designed to meet an evolving risk landscape. It also reflects Balavant’s broader vision of building a “next-generation MGA platform.”
Sentric is led by Florian Beerli as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). He is a market veteran with deep expertise in specialty niche lines.
Most recently, he served as Head of Specialties and US Programs at Beazley, overseeing a portfolio spanning the US, Canada, and Asia.
In direct relation to this launch, Sentric has additionally acquired the renewal rights to Beazley’s product recall book of business, establishing immediate scale and continuity in the marketplace.
