Specialty insurer Beazley has announced the appointment of Barbara Plucnar Jensen to its Board as Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Adrian Cox, Beazley’s CEO, previously mentioned this during the firm’s full-year results, stating, “I am pleased that Barbara Plucnar Jensen will become our CFO on 1 May 2024, the depth and breadth of her experience, together with her leadership style, will be both a great cultural fit and an asset to Beazley.”
Jensen’s appointment follows Sally Lake’s decision to step down as CFO after serving in the role for five years.
Jensen joins Beazley from Tryg, the largest non-life insurer in Scandinavia, where she held the position of Group CFO for over five years.
Before that, she served as CFO at ISS UK & Ireland for over two years, as well as Senior Vice President, Head of Group Treasury at ISS A/S, where she worked for over seven years.
Jensen also brings a wealth of experience from various senior and leadership roles at Danske Markets.
