Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI), a property and casualty insurer (P&C), has announced the appointment of Hart Humble to the newly created position of Head of Customer & Broker Engagement for the South Central U.S.
In her new role, Humble will focus on fostering and maintaining strong relationships with brokers and end buyers.
Lori Spoon, Head of Customer & Broker Engagement at BHSI, explains, “Given the substantial growth of our business and our team in the South Central U.S, the time is right to add dedicated Customer & Broker Engagement leadership in this important market.”

Drawing upon three decades of experience in the insurance industry, encompassing underwriting of Executive Lines and developing business in the P&C sector, Humble brings a wealth of expertise to her new role.
Prior to joining BHSI, Humble served as the Business Development Manager for the South Central Region at Socius Insurance Services, Inc. for over four years.
Additionally, she held the position of Assistant Vice President of Business Development at CNA Insurance for 15 years.
