Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) has recently expanded into the Nordic countries with a new office opening in Stockholm, Sweden.
The Nordic office will offer services in Executive & Professional Lines, General Property, Energy, and Construction.

BHSI has appointed Anna Green as Head of Nordics, Karin Bryner as Head of Executive & Professional Lines, and Anton Holmgren as Head of General Property for the Nordic region.
Anna Green, an industry veteran with over 15 years of experience in Specialty and Environmental underwriting, joins BHSI from Zurich Insurance Company, where she was CEO of its Sweden branch for three years. She also spent 12 years at AIG in various leadership roles.
Green commented, “We look forward to building a strong team in the Nordics and bringing BHSI’s commitment to excellent technical underwriting and highly responsive service to the market. We have already had great responses from brokers and customers.”
Karin Bryner brings extensive experience in financial lines underwriting, focusing on Nordic risks. She joins BHSI from Zurich Insurance, where she was Manager of UW Financial Lines Sweden. Bryner has also worked at firms such as XL Catlin, The Navigators Group, and Chartis.
Anton Holmgren, with over a decade of property underwriting experience, also joins from Zurich Insurance, where he worked for over seven years, most recently as Head of Customer & Distribution.
