Bermuda International Long Terms Insurers and Reinsurers (BILTIR) has increased the size of its Board of Directors from 10 to 15, with the appointments of five additional members.
Joining BILTR’s Board are Amy Ellison, CEO of Legal & General Reinsurance (Bermuda), Manfred Maske, Group CEO and Board Member, Monument Re Group (Bermuda), Michelle Moloney, Chief Risk Officer, Pacific Life Re, Donna Cotter, CEO of Sun Life International, and Jon Steffen, President of Aspida Life Re.
All five were elected at BILTIR’s recent members meeting on June 30.
The company said that it was increasing the size of the Board to expand the scope of its expertise.
BILTIR Chair Sylvia Oliveira, commented: “BILTIR is active in supporting its members and is committed to increasing the level of engagement with its key stakeholders. These new appointments strengthen the depth of expertise of the Board and will allow us to be even more effective in representing the life insurance and reinsurance sector.
