Bishop Street Underwriters, a RedBird Capital Partners portfolio company, has announced the appointment of Karman Chan as Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Chan will serve as a member of Bishop Street’s leadership team and work closely with the CEO and President to drive strategic decision-making, anticipate the financial and operational needs of a rapidly scaling business, and build the infrastructure required to support long-term growth. She will also play an active role in shaping strategy across the platform.
Jeff Arricale has transitioned to Operating CFO, where he will support Chan and the broader finance organisation, ensuring continuity and supporting the firm’s financial operations.
Chan brings extensive experience leading finance organisations. She spent 11 years at Galway Holdings as CFO, guiding the business through more than 25 acquisitions, as well as multiple debt raises, refinancings, and recapitalisations.
She oversaw financial policies and matters for EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants, Galway Specialty Wholesale (GSW), and MAI Capital Management LLC within Galway Holdings.
