BMS, the independent insurance and reinsurance broker, has confirmed five appointments to its newly formed Accident & Health (A&H) division, based in London.
The new team will work alongside BMS’s established A&H relationships, providing solutions across international markets without territorial or client constraints.
James Early joined BMS as Managing Director on 9 February. He previously spent 18 years at Miller Insurance Services LLP, where he built and led a team focused on international A&H and cross-class business. In his current role, Early is responsible for leading the development and implementation of the division’s long-term strategy.
Andrew Furr joined the business on 2 January from Burns & Wilcox Global Solutions, where he held the position of Executive Director, International Specialty. Furr’s role at BMS includes developing insurance solutions for specialist sectors and complex risk environments.
Kevin White joined on 4 September 2025 from Specialist Risk International, bringing more than 20 years of experience in product development across a range of industry sectors. Alexander Cassey joined on 2 January from Burns & Wilcox Global Solutions and contributes 15 years of internationally focused experience delivering tailored insurance programmes. As Divisional Directors, White and Cassey are responsible for structuring programmes designed to address emerging risks and evolving operational requirements.
Paige Alston joined BMS on 13 November 2025 with seven years of experience gained at Miller Insurance Services, where she worked as an Account Handler within the Accident & Health and Delegated Authority teams. Alston works with clients and insurers to provide structured and tailored insurance solutions.
