Thomas Olunloyo, the former Deputy Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Legal & General America, has joined Brookfield Annuity as its new President and CEO, effective November 2021.
Based in Toronto, Ontario, Brookfield Annuity provides pension de-risking solutions through group annuity policies.
Olunloyo joined the firm last month from his most recent role at L&G America, which he assumed in June 2021.
Prior to this, he served as the CEO of L&G Reinsurance for more than four years, having been promoted from his previous role as Chief Actuary & Chief Investment Officer at L&G Re.
Before joining L&G in 2014, Olunloyo held a number of positions at MetLife, including Pricing and Product Development Actuary, Relationship Manager, and Actuarial Associate.
Between September 2006 and January 2008, Olunloyo spent time at Deloitte as an Actuarial Analyst.
