BRP Group, Inc., an independent insurance distribution firm, has launched its new International Center of Excellence (COE) to provide exemplary insurance solutions for clients with international operations, as well as those exploring international expansion.
The newly launched COE is an addition to the firm’s growing portfolio of specialty practices, which strategically leverage the broad base of knowledge and deep expertise which is then offered across its network, both nationally and internationally.
The company says that via its COE, it can further provide optimal solutions that cater to the unique needs of its clients’ businesses, regardless of their geographic location.
Dan Galbraith, BRP Group’s Chief Operating Officer, commented: “International clients with geographically dispersed operations and workforces require specialized risk management and insurance expertise that address their unique business models and operations. Our new International Center of Excellence is another expanded specialty area that advises and provides clients and prospective clients with bespoke solutions for their individual risk profiles and employee benefits needs.”
The International COE is headed by Mike Kelly, Senior Partner, and staffed with accomplished insurance experts who are adept at advising and crafting tailored solutions that enable clients to navigate even the most complex environments with confidence and ease.
The team includes Amy Bohn as Vice President, Client Executive of International Benefits, and Joe Gleason, serving as the Director of Global Risk Management.
The aim is to equip businesses with the expert guidance and critical coverage they require to prevent operational setbacks, overcome expansionary obstacles, and supplement the needs of clients within the appropriate economic and geographic context as they grow and travel abroad.
The International COE will also offer core solutions such as Traditional Business Insurance Coverage, International Benefits Packages, Consultative Services, Travel Programs, and Long-term Assignment Programs. Along with Local, National, and Strategic Placements, Multi-National Pooling, Captive Management, and M&A Due Diligence.
Additionally, the International COE will focus intently on global mobility, providing a “duty of care” to organizations that have an increasing responsibility to adequately provide for, prepare, and insure against risks that could be impacting international staff and travellers.
Galbraith concluded: “We are excited to expand our portfolio to the marketplace and extend the deep bench of expertise in the International practice to clients so they can effectively navigate regulatory nuances and local business requirements as they grow their businesses.”
