EUS is recognized for its ability to provide expert counsel and wholesale brokerage services across numerous environmental risks, including General Liability, Pollution, Professional Liability, Auto, Workers’ Compensation, and Excess, among others.

The deal will expand Burns & Wilcox’s expertise in placing complex environmental exposures.

Danny Kaufman, President, Burns & Wilcox, commented, “This acquisition aligns with our vision for Burns & Wilcox shared earlier this year. We will be aggressive in pursuing independent or highly specialized wholesale brokers and underwriters that further enhance our core business. Environmental Underwriting Solutions is highly respected in this sector – we expect environmental business to be yet another key growth area for us in the years ahead.”

Beth Linton, who previously served as President of EUS, will move to Burns & Wilcox as Vice President, Environmental Brokerage. Based out of the company’s Atlanta office, she will report to Blaise D’Antoni, Executive Vice President, Eastern U.S., Burns & Wilcox.

She will continue overseeing her teams located in Atlanta, Birmingham, Alabama, and Charleston, South Carolina.

Linton added, “I am proud of the national footprint EUS has built. Now, as part of Burns & Wilcox, we will be backed by one of the industry’s leading independent insurance wholesalers. The company has committed to invest and expand our reach as we partner with the existing Burns & Wilcox environmental unit, driving even greater collective growth.”
